The pressure forming segment of the thermoforming industry is relatively new compared to other older, well-known processes such as vacuum forming. Many of the design guidelines or rules of thumb in this booklet are being formulated for the first time. It is a foregone conclusion that these recommendations and conclusions will change as the pressure forming process matures and experience generates additional data.
